What is Dāan?

A personal act of giving.

Dāan is an act of giving. In this practice, guidance is offered after understanding your situation. The giving itself is personal, direct and carried out by you.

The meaning

Why Dāan?

Giving can be approached with sincerity and purpose. It is not a product or payment to Mustafa A. Badri.

After considering the situation, I may advise what to give, when to give, how to give and to whom. What is appropriate depends on the individual conversation.

Key principles

What Dāan is — and is not.

A personal act

The giving is yours to make, with intention and care.

Dāan is not a product

I provide guidance on what may be given, when, how and to whom. You arrange and carry out the giving yourself. I do not sell Dāan products or materials.

You give directly

You obtain what is needed and give it yourself.

Guidance, not a promise

Advice is considered individually, without guaranteed outcomes.

The consultation fee is for the consultation and guidance. It is separate from anything you may personally choose or be guided to give.

How it works

Dāan guidance, step by step.

01

We discuss

You explain the concern and the circumstances around it.

02

I consider

I study your situation and whether Dāan guidance is appropriate.

03

You give

If suggested, you receive clear guidance and carry out the giving yourself.

Understanding the guidance

When is guidance considered?

It may form part of a focused reading when the situation calls for it. It is not automatically recommended to everyone.

Following a consultation, monthly, quarterly or six-month guidance may also be discussed. Its scope and fee depend on what is required.

There is no sale of Dāan products and no transfer of Dāan to me.

A private next step
